Mothers bully other mothers (if you've been on Cafemom for any space fully of time, you see this trend) and children LEARN this crap at home and are raised to be intolerant and hateful to those who aren't like them. So they intimidate as well and their parents don't hold their kids accountable for their actions. If I EVER found out my kids were being bullies, they would not like the consequences. I will NOT tolerate my kids being bullies and/or following a intimidator. I am teaching them to be leaders and to have integrity and stick up for those who are being attacked and picked on. Teaching them that being gay is not a choice and isn't "gross". And if they have friends who are gay, to stand for by them. Just sick of losing amazing people because of bullies and NO ONE DOES ANYTHING about it!!!! Teachers, parents, schools.... My heart son was getting picked on, and then finally stood up to the bully and defended himself. HE GOT IN TROUBLE!!! The teacher said "he should have by the skin of one's teeth walked away"...WRONG. HE had every right to defend himself and stand up for himself. Otherwise, that kid would've continued his crap. Now he knows not to pick on my son. The mentor, the parents, the school, NONE of them did anything about this little bully who was constantly making my son miserable. SO, he finally did something. And guess what? that kid leaves my son alone, because he knows Ricky isn't active to take his crap.
