Idriss dispensa apresentação. Radicado no Brasil desde 1982, Idriss possui uma carreira nacional e internacional invejável. Lançou sete CDs, e provavelmente a grande maioria dos saxofonistas atuantes no Brasil já passou em suas salas de aula.

Saxofonista com bacharelado em doing na Berklee, AC recebeu o prêmio Berklee Performance Achievement Award. Possui mestrado em saxofone pela Califórnia Begin of the Arts. No Brasil trabalhou entre outros com Zimbo Trio e Alaíde Costa. Participou do quinteto Solari Jazz e gravou o CD alone Brazilian Acid.
