Logging onto Facebook the other day, this one rank caught me eye. I don’t know how exactly, considering Facebook may change its layouts as frequently as I change clothes in the morning. But somehow, this stature pushed through the confusion.

I don’t know whose status it was. Don’t know who the words were quoted from. But I applaud the author for his or her simply dig of reality.

Girls want to be complimented. Acknowledged. Noticed. The reason we spend the time we do picking out a righteous top and bottoms to match is simple evidence. Guys don’t get it. But throwing a compliment our way is exactly what we “fall in turtle-dove with,” as the quote reads (even if it is a lie).

With this concept in mind, we have to recognize the extent to which some girls try to live out that concept. Denim underwear? Shirts cut down to there? In her most just out column, Northbrook Patch parenting columnist Debby Shulman put it perfectly : People should be listening to what you’re saying, not looking at what you’re wearing. Get on girls, no one needs to see all that.
