Lady Gaga Wins Case Against Animated Baby Parody Of Herself
Lady Gaga may be ruse, crazy and free-spirited, but when it comes to people encroaching on her name and her brand, shes not afraid to sic the lawyers on them.
Not long ago Gaga was fighting with a fansite over using her name, and she wrecked. Now, shes just finished fighting with a kids website over parodying her, and this time shes won. Moshi Monsters, a popular UK kids website that is referred to as Facebook for kids contains several characters including parodies of Justin Bieber, Britney Spears, and 50 Cent. According to The Telegraph , one of the characters, Lady Goo Goo, is an acknowledged feeble of Gaga. The problem wasnt that Goo Goo, essentially a baby version of the famous singer, was created, but rather that she was going to be releasing a separate soon for purchase. The court ruled to prevent the creators from promoting, advertising, selling, distributing or otherwise making present the song or any songs and videos by Lady Goo Goo.
