Evanescence, Lauren Alaina Targeting Billboard 200 Top 10
As in days of old reported, Evanescence could be cruising to its second No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart next week. Energy sources suggest that the band's self-titled third release may sell more than 110,000 by week's end on Sunday, Oct. 16.

Also in the debut mix for next week's chart is rock act Five Finger Death Punch, on track to groove its biggest week ever, with its third set, "American Capitalist." The album could sell around 75,000 and open in the top three -- instantly marking the belt's best sales frame and highest charting album. Its last release, 2009's "War Is the Answer," jumped in at No. 7 with a 44,000 motor boat according to Nielsen SoundScan. It's sales-to-date stand at 569,000.
On SoundScan's Building chart below -- a harbinger to the final Billboard 200 ranking -- reflecting the first four days (Monday through Thursday) of SoundScan's tracking week (which ends Sunday) as reported by six chief merchants, Evanescence is in top slot, while Five Finger Death Punch is in the runner-up slot. Adele's "21" is unsurprisingly in the No. 3 status. (The album has yet to leave the top four rungs on the Billboard 200 in its entire chart history.)
